Delaware Division of the Arts
The Delaware Division of the Arts, a branch of the Delaware Department of State, is dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts to enhance the quality of life for all Delawareans. Together with its advisory body, the Delaware State Arts Council, the Division administers grants and programs that support arts programming, educate the public, increase awareness of the arts, and integrate the arts into all facets of Delaware life.
The Division of the Arts was created by the Delaware General Assembly in 1989. Its enabling legislation can be found in the Delaware Code, Title 29, Chapter 87, Section 26.

Driving Directions & Parking
The Carvel State Office Building is located on the corner of 9th and French streets in Wilmington. A parking garage is open under the building on weekdays, and there is limited metered street parking on the nearby blocks.
