Center for the Creative Arts
The Center for the Creative Arts (CCArts) is a community-focused, regional arts organization. Our mission at the Center for the Creative Arts is to provide high quality visual and performing arts opportunities; programs, events and exhibitions designed to nurture the creative spirit in people of all ages and abilities. CCArts holds quarterly classes in visual and performing arts, a monthly Open Mic night, private music, art and drama lessons, a ten-week summer arts camp for children, and hosts art exhibitions, plays, concerts, music festivals and an annual Artisans Show. CCArts offers a Saturday morning art program for children including drawing, painting and ceramics. We also offer several classes for homeschooled children including Visual Arts and Theater Arts. A Figure Drawing Open Studio is offered every Saturday and short-term workshops (1-3 classes) are offered throughout the semester in subjects such as Creative Writing, Crafts and Glass Fusion.
